Went here to check out the venue for a birthday brunch I'm having that would accommodate a pretty large group. Sad to say I will not be going here for my brunch the food wasn't anything to brag about. Parking is a nightmare, service was meh, and they gave me and my friend 2 days old potatoes warmed up. Ew! They were not just visibly old but dry and hard to taste. We tried to explain it to the waitress she just said she would tell the chef but we were paying good money for our food and drinks and wanted to be accommodated accordingly. So my friend asked again for fresh potatoes and as you can see in the pictures I provided there was a huge difference. I won't be going back here or recommending this place to anyone.
The Point is a VIBE... The atmosphere and food make your dining and bar experience special everytime.
The food is pretty good, plated well and portion sizes are on "POINT".
I've been going to brunch here for 2 years... pre-pandemic prices were awesome... Prices have changed dramatically because of covid. But still well worth it...
One more thing... Please bring back the good mimosas. I have no clue what changed but the mimosas are not good anymore... (Please look into that @ The Point)
Went there today with 6 other girls for my sisters birthday and I am totally disappointed. I order shots for the table and it was watered down juice basically. Didn’t taste no kind of liquor! One of my sisters ordered pretzels and they gave her what looked like dinner rolls sliced in half with sugar sprinkled over it. So she sent them back and said that’s not what she wants. The server told her “our pretzels look diff than normal ones. And I’ll get the manager”. We never asked for a manager although I wanted to but my family said no but she brought the manager up then the manager never came over. All of the chicken was cooked too hard and was close to burnt. My cousin order a sprite and it tasted like alka seltzer. My mimosa was nothing but juice. Thank god it didn’t ruin my sister’s birthday but we will never spend money there again. And I’ll tell anyone who thinks about going the same thing.
We hosted our rehearsal dinner here. We had eaten here in the past and knew their food was going to be amazing! It is a super cool spot with a lot of personality and versatility. It has a very fun, industrial, but chic vibe with a really cool outdoor space and lots of versatility. They offer a lot of cool events as well which we are hoping to check out soon!
Great experience, just small portions and high prices. I really enjoyed my time at the point, just because the staff is EXTREMELY friendly and welcoming and always make sure you're attended to. It goes a long way, and it encouraged me to go …
Chicken n Waffles were very good. The Waffle is a brown sugar waffle which really didn't need much syrup. Chicken was seasoned well. Eggs are your choice. Cheese eggs scrambled were very good. There were other meals that I saw like the …
This place should be shut down. Went on a Thursday evening ordered pesto gnocchi, burger and fries, and espresso martini.
Martini tasted like water. Gnocchi was flour in oil. Disgusting. My stomach started hurting immediately after. When you enter there's no one to greet you at the door, we weren't sure whether to grab a table ourselves or not. We ended up sitting at the bar. Husbands burger was burnt. Fries were worst. Everyone's good looked burnt.
How are they still opened.
Actually spent between 16-23 per person. So the wait staff and bartender were great! The restaurant has its own Jameson infused liquor for instance pineapple infused Jameson. Had the old bay brown sugar wings to me they were interesting but my husband enjoyed them. I had the crab dip tots as a meal.. plentiful but they weren't great...bought them home and my son really enjoyed them. My husband had the seafood omelette...huge fluffy omelette which I had several bits of and it was really good. They also have the bottomless mimosas which other tables seem to really be enjoying. Have both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking in Towson is always a hit or miss but overall a good time and I would try it again.
